The Piano Laboratory aims to provide high school piano lab teachers with the highest quality teaching materials available.

The Piano Laboratory is a small women-owned business located in New Jersey. After trying several traditional methods in her high school classroom, Robin McAnally-Sengco saw a need for piano class materials created specifically for high school students and teachers. Her philosophy of musical exploration and play at the piano is at the heart of every page.

About the author

Robin McAnally-Sengco is the author of The Piano Laboratory textbook. She is a choral director and piano teacher in New Jersey. Robin graduated from Lebanon Valley College with degrees in music education and piano performance, and from Florida State University with a masters degree in piano pedagogy. She is a third generation music educator and currently spends the majority of her practice sessions telling her cat Jazzy to get off the piano!
